We are committed to providing the resources that are needed to keep us … not just competitive … but in a position of leadership, in a rapidly changing lubrication market. TWO NEW CHEMISTRIES
Most of the product announcements that will be made in the coming period have been made possible by the development of two new chemistries that truly take our SWEPCO Lubricant Line to a whole new level of anti-wear and anti-oxidation performance. These advancements in our additive technologies are the result of more than two years of work. It is simply coincidence that they have both come together at the same time.
The first of these developments is an addition to our moly additive chemistry. We call our new moly additive MolyXP … and it delivers remarkable new anti-wear performance in several of our oils.
Next, we are announcing a development that has a substantial impact on the service life of our gear, compressor and hydraulic oils. Among other benefits, our next generation Lubium® II package insures extraordinary resistance to oxidation and extends the life of some of our oils up to 8,000 hours and longer in some applications.

PREMIUM SYNTHEONTM HIGH VI SYNTHETIC BASE STOCKS …
In addition to these two important developments, we have reformulated several of our products to take advantage of a new line of SyntheonTM base stock specifications. This is a SWEPCO family of high VI synthetic base stocks carefully selected and blended for optimum performance. Where operating conditions require they bring superior performance at both higher and lower temperatures and overcome disadvantages of other types of synthetics.
