SWEPCO 113 Moly Fluid Grease is a hidden gem among our other greases. This is a Calcium Stearate based grease with Moly available in a NLGI “00”. The light viscosity base oil and fluid characteristics make it ideal for high speed applications, centralized systems, robotics, and the list goes on and on. SWEPCO 113 is the grease of choice for couplings between a drive motor and a piece of equipment like a pump or air compressor. It also can be used in industrial centrifuges, bottling lines (non-food or beverage), conveyors, and as a chain lubricant.
SWEPCO 113 contains Molybdenum Disulfide, a proven extreme pressure additive used in SWEPCO 101 and 103. Moly provides that extra insurance coverage to protect equipment against wear, heavy loads and shock. Moly produces a film on the metal surface that can withstand 500,000 psi of pressure and will not wear off. Moly is a passive extreme pressure agent that work at all temperatures and does not require heat or pressure to activate it.
SWEPCO 113 Moly Fluid Grease also contains Lubium® for additional corrosion, wear and oxidation resistance. This combination makes SWEPCO 113 ideal for use in agricultural and lawn maintenance gear boxes where grease is used instead of gear oils.
SWEPCO 113 has been used for lubricating track rollers, wire rope, drive chains, cables, slides, and cams with excellent results. This versatile grease has an excellent operating temperature range of -25F to +250F (-32C to +120C). Due to the flow characteristics SWEPCO 113 is not available in tubes.
Excellent All-Temperature Performance
Thermal stability is extremely important in fluid greases…the lubricant must remain fluid in cold temperatures and must not thin in high temperature applications.
SWEPCO 113 Moly Fluid Grease provides dependable, uniform lubrication in a broad temperature temperature range. It remains fluid in extreme cold for superior pumpability and reliable performance, and is equally effective in high temperature environments which cause less stable greases to run, bleed or splatter.
